A test, before release: EfsoYol is not released yet. No company has been formed: until one is, the data controller is the person named below. The app is a closed test, open only by referral, for testing and research before release.
Controller: Sina Javaheri. Contact: sinajavaheri@gmail.com.
What is stored: an irreversible digest of your Google or Apple account identity (not an address or an id), the name you show, your profile picture if you chose one, your visibility choice, your taste and mood measures (numbers), the places and walks you saved, your lists, the events the app reports (for the score), the incidents you reported. No email, phone, location history or IP is stored.
The AI guide: when you talk to the guide, what you typed, your current mood and taste numbers and the conversation so far are sent, without your identity, to two AI services: OpenRouter (openai/gpt-6-luna), which writes the guide's words, and TypeSafe (jev-1.13.0), which reads what you mean and checks the guide's steps. The guide gets no data about places, except in a chat about a place you visited: then it gets that one place's details and the reports already waiting about it. These services are outside Turkey; the transfer happens under the standard contracts of the Personal Data Protection Authority.
What the guide keeps: every conversation with the guide is kept in full until it has been reviewed. The review starts at the latest an hour after the chat ends and runs as soon as the reviewing AI is free. It scores the chat for the team, removes anything private and anything not needed as evidence about a place, and keeps only that short evidence, without your account, for changes to a place's information. If you have turned on measuring the guide (below), the whole chat and its review are kept instead, without your account, to train future versions of the guide. A fact you report about a place you visited is also saved for the team as a suggestion, with your own words from it (at most 500 characters), not linked to your account, and waits for a person to check it; nothing about the place changes by itself. For each turn the team also logs what the guide did and why (its step, its search conditions, how many places matched, and coded readings such as how sure it was), without your words.
Measuring the guide, to improve it: what you did after a turn (opened a place, rephrased, walked away, liked or disliked it), and your whole chats with their reviews, to train future versions of the guide, are recorded only if you turn it on. It is off until you do, you can switch it off again in the app at any time, and switching it off does not mean deleting your account. Switching it off stops future recording; a chat already used for training cannot be taken back out of a trained guide.
Remembering how you give feedback: when you tell the guide about a visit, it can learn from how you answer its questions, so it asks in a way that suits you: whether you tap a button or type, which questions you answer, skip or are unsure about, which of the offered subjects (such as the food or the service) you pick, whether you accept an offer to report a detail, and how many of its questions you get through. It keeps codes and counts, never your words, and only if you turn it on. It is off by default. You can turn it off at any time, the same way you turned it on; turning it off deletes what was remembered and does not require deleting your account. Older counts weigh less over time, and if nothing new is added for 180 days, all of it is deleted.
Learning your taste from what you do: only two things can teach it: saving a place, and telling the guide after a visit that it was great, with no problem, and (when it asks) that you would go again. Each moves your taste a small step toward that place's character, so its suggestions fit what you enjoy -- only if you turn it on. It is off by default. Unsaving the place, or reporting a problem later in the same visit chat, takes that step back; places you look at, walks, saying a place is not for you, and your mood never move your taste. You can turn it off at any time, the same way you turned it on; turning it off removes every step your activity took, keeps what you told the guide yourself, and does not require deleting your account.
Retention: a session expires after 30 days and a mood after 4 hours; a conversation is kept until its review, which starts at the latest an hour after it ends; expired rows are removed by a daily sweep; the team's records (incident reports, the guide's ledger, the evidence kept from reviewed chats and the place reports) for the team's work, separated from your identity.
Your rights: access (the export in the app), erasure (delete the account: your account and everything linked to it is deleted; the team's records become anonymous; places you discovered stay as content), withdrawal of consent (the same as erasure).
